Mia Touchet

Mia Touchet was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Denison University cum laude in 1994. Mia graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law, obtaining a J.D. in 2003. In law school she served on the Editorial Board of the New Mexico Law Review, served as the Student Bar Association President, and was nominated to the Order of the Coif. Immediately upon graduation from law school, Mia began work as a lawyer representing plaintiffs in serious-injury/wrongful-death cases. Mia is on the Executive Board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the New Mexico Delegate for the American Associate for Justice, and holds an AV rating from the esteemed Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. Mia is an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico Law School, teaching a course entitled “Civil Procedure: Drafting Civil Litigation Documents.” Mia is a regular speaker at continuing legal education seminars with an emphasis in remand and removal.
